The Presidency has promised to look into the demands of the students Union Leaders of Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-ife. The Senior Special Assistant On students Matters Com Jide Imagwe communicated this via his official twitter account. Com Jude Imagwe in a series of tweets Briefly stated the Federal governments line of Action.
Com Jude Imagwe a former NANS president and the presidency had earlier in the year failed to resolve the university hiked feesfees.



The students of Obafemi Awolowo University had earlier  stated in a press release that they will work against the re-election bid of President Goodluck Jonathan based on his Purported anti students policies.
The students Union addressed a letter  to president Goodluck Jonathan at a visit to the school in December 2014 who personally received the letter and promised to address the demands.

The students Union led by Comrade Ibikunle Isaac had earlier in the year grabbed headlines by blockading Major roads in the country to call on the Federal Government to address their plight to no avail.
