No oo.. Mind u unilag requires it. In Great ife, Engineering students should just have a minimum of credit in physics, chemisty, biology, maths, english.. Dt is all.

Oau requires Maths, physics, chemistry, English "PLUS ANY OTHER SCIENCE SUBJECT" not excluding further maths.

So, it's not required but acceptable
