Three Key Steps to Be Born Again.
To be a born again Christian is not an easy task, it is a lifetime decision every Christian must make in other to make heaven. We all want to make heaven but for us to achieve this, we must make some sacrifice. If our lord Jesus could sacrifice himself for us, who are we not to make sacrifice? We must sacrifice our earthly desires. That does not mean that we should not pursue to achieve some level of comfort in this life but we should not allow our possessions to posses us. Jesus promises eternal life to all of us that follow him. Nobody knows how eternal life looks like. Only God knows. We may have tried to visualize how paradise looks like, how it would feel to live a perfect life, life without suffering; however a perfect life is God’s gift to all that keep his commandments.
Brethren I want to let you know that our God is the God of second chance; he is ever ready to accept us when we repent with our whole heart. Jesus continues to invite us into his love. To be a born again is a way of life. It is our responsibility as followers of Christ to stick to his injunctions. For us to be born again we must first of all do the following things below:
• Acknowledge your sins: for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23).
• Believe in your heart that Jesus died for you. (Romans 10:9)
• Repent, confess and forsake your sins: Luke 13:3, Acts 3: 19, 1 john1:9, Isaiah 55:7, John 3:16.
After we must have done these three key things, we have to read the bible daily, depend on God in every situation, pray without season and stay close to our creator. Choose where we go, what we say and the kind of friends we keep and what we watch so that we will never be separated from him. Amen
