A bright start for ASUS in 2015; ASUS announced their new smartphone, the ZenFone 2 as the CES 2015 get underway. ASUS has partnered with Intel to offer premium features at a much lower cost of $199 for the Zenfone 2.The device has a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS panel display, coupled with a 1080p resolution, with the device sporting a 72% screen-to-body ratio. The ZenFone 2 runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with ASUS’ ZenUI on top, a UI which makes life simple with his customization and shortcuts.


Powered by 64-bit quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor, it has 2 variants, a 2GB of RAM which cost $199, but there is also a proposed 4GB version which will be released in the year. Camera-wise, ASUS is once again pushing their PixelMaster technology with a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2.0-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone comes in variant of color which are Osmium Black, Sheer Gold, Glacier Gray, Glamor Red, and Ceramic White. Though it doesn't sport a Qualcomm processor, the 3,000 mAh battery can be taken from practically empty to 60% in roughly 39 minutes which is a big plus for the phone. The phone will be released March, this year. Watch Out!
