Yvonne Okoro is of mixed descent as she is of Nigerian and Ghanaian origin with full names being Chinyere Yvonne Okoro. The star actress comes from a polygamous family but the first child of her mother. She attended Achimota Preparatory School after which she went to the Lincoln Community School and then to Faith Montessori School. She continued at Mfanstiman Girls’ Senior High School before enrolling into the University of Ghana. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, combining English and Linguistics.
