. That's not true, there are two variants of the v6( 2.7L and the 3.5L) can you prove to us by giving a source on any recall it had or a major reoccurring problem on car reviews? I used the 2.7L carefully for 5years with out stories

5 years? Either the last owner overseas recently changed engine before selling off or you must be one of the luckiest people alive to have survived an engine blow out for that long before selling off too. Chrysler engines V6 engines, whichever variant, "always" blow out on its own. The 2.7L is even the worst of the two V6 types. Whoever you sold it to, would have suffered the blown engine fate you dodged grin. By "carefully", do you mean occassionally driven?

I just inherited a 2005 Chrysler 300 Touring that I'm trying to fix. Took it to my friend's mechanic who gave me a bill that I would like the experts in the house to weigh in on.

stabilizer linkage N18,000

lower arm double bushing N50,000

lower arm with joint N50,000

ball joint N50,000

Complete tie rod N30,000

stabilizer rubber N10,000

set of front and back brake pad N50,000

total #208,000

This bill sounds very outrageous and I would like for people with more experience and expertise to weigh in on this matter. Thank you very much.
..

Where is your location?

I think the 2.7L is underpowered for that engine, 3.5l is better but the 5.8/6.2L Hemis are destructible. My mind is set at the Dodge SRT Chrysler 300c and the Dodge Magnum, I must have one in my garage.

How well is this car fairing in naija? I 've always love this 300 and the MAGNUM , in fact the Chrysler/ Dodge family. the.3.5l is better option than the 2.7l variant. I use a Durango currently , the Major problem is getting a reliable mechanic to take care of them but I think a very good Mercedes Benz mech/tech can do some wonders since they share some parts in common as I heard.
