*** Nigeria National Anthem rendition ***

Fellow Nigerians,

This is another election year. I believe as young men and women of this great country, we have a responsibility to take our future into our hands and agree on what's best for us. The country is not in a pleasant shape as we all know and we cannot, I repeat, we cannot wait for another four years of poor leadership and institutionalised corruption before we make a change.

An opportunity has presented itself to rewrite our course of history. Four years is more than enough to appraise this current administration or any other administration, even the Government accepts it has failed in its six years and is begging for a repeat, which we should not allow. This is our best moment of change.

Lets leave sentiments, ethnic or religious affiliations aside as they are the root cause of our present circumstances, lets envision the future. The ruling party has failed and the nation has become a mockery among the committee of nations. GEJ has done his best, and that's all he can offer. His quest for re-election, amongst other wrong advises he normally receive is solely influenced by self centered associates and politicains who crave for undue power and relevance and does not have the interest of the citizens at heart. Nigerians are wiser now, we know better and we know what's best for us.

Let's join the train of wise men who want a better and secured country for the future generations, that's the best of legacies we can leave behind. The older generation failed us, we should not turn this to a generational cause and pass it unto the next generation. We have our future right with us. Lets rewrite our history. Let's join a leadership that is ready to reform the decays of the current administration. Lets elect leaders that can be held accountable for its actions and inactions.

The bloodshed in the Northeast will speak against us if we allow another four years of insurgency, bombings, manslaughter, injustice, human rights violations, insecurity and deprivations. We can make a change, and now is the time. Change by non-violence, Change by ballots and elections, Change by our collective desire for a change and Change to a better alternative to bad governance.

Arise O Compatriots, Let's obey the clarion call for change and rebuild our nation with renewed vigour and hope for a more promising future.

God bless Nigeria...
