It is such a pity barely 24 hours after the pictures of Buhari's exceptionally beautiful daughter, children of hatred and anger have already initiated a hailstorm of attacks on her.
The only crime I think she committed was that of being naturally beautiful!!
Some took to air to write: "we asked Buhari to show us his certs but instead he showed us his daughter".
Others started questioning how the general came about putting his daughter through school in the UK since he claims to be so poor!!
Now, let's put the second point into perspective since the first isn't even worthy of the slightest of attention.
First and foremost, it doesn't take an Adenuga to enrol a child in schools in the west!! A lot ordinary people do this especially in the south western states and the South South (especially Edo).
That said, when the general says he's poor, people must understand he means that in a relative term. One definitely can't compare Buhari's worth (in terms of cash and estate) to those of his peers whose estates run into billions of dollars!
Buhari has held some of the juiciest positions in the land, from Head of State (military for that matter), to petroleum minister, to PTF boss, yet can't boast of what a perm sec or a director in a Federal Ministry can boast of in under four years of service, let alone a president!! No??
So when yall go Buhari must be a liar for saying he is poor; his daughter schools abroad, bear these in mind. His pension alone can comfortably see his kids through some of the best schools in the UK, and if I have that kind of money, God forbid that I don't give my kids the best kind of education money can buy!!
In another vain, they say he didn't go to school because he sees wastern education as a taboo, just like Boko Haram, which is the reason why he's one of their sponsors!! . Yet in thesame breath, they blast him for giving his child the best western education in the west!!!. Now tell me, how does one reconcile these two??
What I know is that these guys are just pained the kind of followers the general seems to have added to his multitude of fans simply for reason of his daughter's picture! . Mbok, it is not her fault she's as beautiful as she is, blame that on the good genes of her parents!!
