Every lady of reproductive age has a cycle of 28 days, more or less. This is the time taken when one menses began to the day another one begins.

The cycle should be counted from the first day one menses began to the first day another one begins, both days are inclusive.

The time taken to complete a menstrual cycle is usually 28 days. In a lady, menses may occur in every 28 days but in another lady it may vary from a very short cycle days of between 20 to 23 days, or a long cycle days of between 29 and 30 days.
