I just investigated this matter!! I was able to notice that everyone that got banned have one thing in common!! That is they don't browse without using cheats!! Mtn, etisalat and airtel joined hands with watsapp to do a banning bonaza!! To get unbanned, send "No more Cheating" to 5435 for mtn 233 for airtel And 1010 for etisalat.. Cost #500.. Don't shout, u have bin cheating them for too long, na only u!! 2 Likes |

Apparently Whatsapp plus piggybacks on Whatsapp servers, probably without permission. For a 3rd party app, that's probably not appealing to Whatsapp. I guess they'll eventually just break the app's server access for good. Or use bans to frustrate users |
