I've once read it somewhere, that if you want to keep an information from a Nigerian, put it in a book. Funny or ridiculous as it may seem, looking around us can testify to this statement.

Most of us don't read, we take every information as divulged without making findings. I must say, saying Buhari is too old to govern Nigeria as disgracefully, embarrassingly, ignorantly and continuously aired by many is a global slap on our face as Nigerians, and attestation to the statement earlier made.

Disappointedly, this height of intellectual kwashiokor is being exhibited by a Governor for that matter, Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state, coming with different form of imbecilic advert passing a singular message of Buhari being too old to govern Nigeria.

To make a fool of those who engaged in historic assassination, let me give you names of head of states and presidents of several countries, who served at ages older than Buhari, and yet made historic achievements.

Shimon Peres of Israel became their president @ the ge of 84yrs

Carlo Azeglio became the president of Italy in 1999 @ the age of 79yrs and Giorgio Napolitano again in 2006 as their president @ the age of 81yrs.

Javier Perez of Peru became their Prime minister @ the age of 80yrs.

Girma Wolde-Giorgis of Ethiopia became the president @ the age of 77yrs.

S. R Nathan of Singapore became president @ the age of 75yrs.

And lots more.....

These presidents live several years after office as some are still alive till today. Their people never wished them death nor use it as a factor against them.

I think we should be reasonable with our campaigns, we should face the reality of what this election means to the future of this country. Over flogging an issue as baseless, senseless and superfluous as age is a calculated attempt to divert the attention of Nigerians from real issues. Fayose knows what he's doing, he's the last agent standing to divert the attention of Nigerians, so that, instead of discussing sensitive issues, we would be discussing the madness enshrouded in his insensitivity, wishing someone's father death in the name of election.

Let's focus on the need for change, over 200 Chibok girls are missing and the government is yet to give a reasonable response, many corrupt public office holders and civil servants who embezzled billions are still in service unpunished, many have lost their love ones, many of our brothers and sisters in the north are leaving in fear everyday of their live.

Mismanagement, corruption and insecurity must come to an end.

Thank you GoodLuck
Goodbye Jonathan...

You were the same people that hailed Fashola when he said Agbaje is too old to govern lagos, and you are still the same people endorsing a grandpa to preside over Nigeria.
Apshit definitely have lost it.
GEJ till Apshits get delivered of speaking from both sides of the mouth.

Damage Control. Buhari is a fraud.

Even if we assume that the result released belongs to Buhari, from the principal's letter to the school we can deduce that the requirement for joining the military is credit in English and Maths and 3 other subjects. So Buhari is not qualified to be in the Army and should be stripped of his ranks, arrested and sent to jail the way he sent hundreds when he was head if state.

This post deserves front page for educative reasons.

Fashola is a human, that he erroneously made that statement out of sentiment and political propaganda doesn't make it valid.

He would have wished that word was retrievable. That's why we warn the likes of Fayose to mind what they say now, because by the time GMB emerges come February, the same news paper will mock him crying with cartoons regretting he ever said those words....

has this requirement been existing from the inception of the admission into the nigerian military school?
