Why Do Boiled/fried Food Need Salt And Roasted Do Not? by bluegrey: 12:53pm On Jan 23, 2015
I have been wondering for a while now why roasted versions of yam, corn and plantain do not need salt and still taste super?
What's the scientific explanation behind this?
Is it because water is not added and the nutrients are locked in, but then same goes for fried food, water isn't added and it still needs salt to taste good.
Any logical explanation?
