That is why rivers state under Odili commenced the Omoku/Portharcourt transmission line, unfortunately Amaechi did not follow up on some of Odili's plans. Amaechi also commenced the Eleme / Portharcourt transmission line based on the permission. Delta state has a state wide transmission infrastructure in the works.

State governors with foresight can latch on the changes in the electricity sector and provide electricity for their people.

We are in that phase with our electricity and as the OP showed clearly the government is aware and addressing the issues steadily for a SUSTAINABLE resolution of the problem rather than a quick fix that does not last.

Let us not forget that we had similar birth pangs for cement, fertiliser cabal removal but today these sectors are competing with stable price and even reduction in some cases.
