It is a known fact that our President is clueless, what baffles me is how some people deliberately want to remain blind to the damaging effects of this cluelessness he annoyingly exhibits. In sane climes he should have been shown the way out of Aso Rock. The first priority of any government is to secure lives. If lives are not adequately secured, who will ride the trains and drive on the roads or expend electricity?. Most of us talk with water in our mouths because the insurgents seem far away. Absolutely in agreement with you. I won't write him off completely, I just have this impression that the weight of leadership of a country with the sort of complications you have in Nigeria is too much for him.

He's not also helped himself with the kind of individuals around him. The fresh air he promised has not translated to any fresh approach in tackling corruption, handling the insurgency in the north east or managing the economy.

We voted for him with a lot of expectations but he took the presidency as if that was his own share of the amnesty programme. He's the first leader in the league of most corrupt politicians who will boldly admit that corruption is not stealing... As if the government should tolerate graft to an extent. That wasn't only a mistake, it shows lack of dept.
