Most residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) say they will spend the 2015 Valentine’s Day celebration without the usual outdoor events due to the election holding on that day.

Saint Valentine’s Day, also known as Lover’s Day, is celebrated on Feb. 14 in many countries of the world with the exchange gift items such as cards, candy and flowers, among others, with their special “Valentine”.

Besides gifts, many celebrants use the occasion to wine and dine at various eateries and hotels. Unless the Presidential Election is shifted, the 2015 Valentine’s Day is likely to be devoid of the usual outdoor razzmatazz that accompanies the day.
