Op, they were there before the posters, they are deployed there when there was increasing incident of armed robbers pretending to be hawking snacks and robbing people of their valuables, Now you know |

1LRNZH: This is the reason blogging will never go far in this country... The idiotic site and cracked theme you guys are using and fake news you spread. The god you worship will judge you. Stopping giving us "genuine bloggers" bad name |

This post shows d Op is childish n non chalant. So because they are standin near a poster to monitor traffic, that means they re protecting it. What Nonsense. |

ibietela2: Be here deceiving yourself that you're a blogger. Others have seen the same thing happening in Lagos. ilugunboy: I saw them too yesterday....right from Adekunle intersection down to Adeniji Adele....one or two attached to a poster standing guard. It started since Mbu was deployed to Lagos and environs. In fact it was in the news this month that Police and LASSA officials clashed over removal of posters in Lagos. This should be on FP cc: Obinoscopy, Lalasticlala, Maclatunji, Seun |

Lurcky: So it is after PDP's posters are laid on 3rd mainland bridge that police have decided to monitor the fast moving traffic on that bridge? Bring up another excuse pls. 1 Like |

They are always on the TMB especially during traffic gridlock to scare away hoodlums. |
Re: PHOTOS: Nigeria Police Assigned To Protect PDP Posters by LRNZH(m): 10:05am On Jan 31, 2015 |
gulfer: Na only PDP supporters dey see police standing regularly in the median on 3rd Mainland bridge. They have an RRS and FERMA spot around the Yaba exit but not standing in the median of the bridge where the posters are. 1 Like |

op I have bn in lagos for 6 years, even though I hate PDP with passion, all these while police has always been on third mainland Bridge and standing next to a street light on the divider. I think fashola puts them there because before there used to be armed robbery on the bridge. now its a thing of the past |

Re: PHOTOS: Nigeria Police Assigned To Protect PDP Posters by horlus(m): 11:29am On Jan 31, 2015 |
Those policemen are just doing their work Mr Op. They have been doing that for years on the third mainland bridge protecting citizens from robbers. My best guess is they decided to take one poster each as a shade while on the bridge. Please let's mind the kind of information we spread around. |
Re: PHOTOS: Nigeria Police Assigned To Protect PDP Posters by LRNZH(m): 11:34am On Jan 31, 2015 |
horlus: It is undersood that RRS vehicles plark in the emergency area of the bridge. But policemen standing by individual posters in the median? That's a new one. And similar observations have been made in Ikeja as well. Read through the thread. This was long expected since LASSA and NPF have clashed over posters this year already |
