After a long series of online polls in which more than 80% of Nigerians have expressed their resolve to vote Muhammadu Buhari in the February 14th, 2015 elections, President Goodluck Jonathan's Special Adviser on New Media, Mr Reno Omokri, set up another quick poll, this time on Twitter, to test the popularity of his boss.

As at my last personal count before the media aide quickly pulled down the poll by deleting the tweet, Buhari had again, more than 87% of the votes cast by 'favouriting' the tweet, as opposed to less than 13% who 'retweeted' same tweet to support the sitting President.

Within minutes of posting the tweet, the balance had shifted rapidly in Buhari favour of the APC presidential candidate, and Mr Reno's colleagues had nothing but vituperations for him for putting Goodluck's popularity to the test once more, after so many failed attempts.

Campaign rallies, donations, and such online polls indicate Muhammadu Buhari is on to win Nigeria's elections this month by an unprecedented landslide, however, the regime of President Jonathan which has increased fuel prices, cut power supply, wrecked the economy, and overseen Boko Haram insurgency, still maintains that it will win the elections.
