You should check your air filter too & pour some fuel injector cleaner into your tank.

l will try but can it cause hard start.

Other recommendations are just to ensure your engine runs efficiently.

Yeah. Troubleshooting in older engines is more an art than a science. Because they don't have a computer tells you what could be wrong directly.

Switch on and off the ignition three times before actually cranking the engine & note if there is any improvement in starting.

Still waiting for help and suggestion but an electrician suggested the timing belt should be check and am like seeing reasons with him,pls is they no one here to help a brother in dire dilemma

u might no get much input cos ur car is a classic
In a car ,u need to have a good spark,air and fuel in proper proportion before u can hve a good starting .
So check the sparking coming from ur ignition system, clean and service ur trottle body system for adequate air and perform fuel pressure test on your fuel rail to determine the pressure u are getting .
