Udo Lattek, former FC Barcelona coach between 1981 and 1983, has died at the age of 80 in Germany.

Lattek arrived at the Club in the summer of 1981 after great success in his homeland as coach of Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Borrusia Möchengladbach.

In 1974 Lattek coach Bayern Munich to victory in the European and in 1979 he won the UEFA Cup with Borussia Möchengladbach.

His impressive CV eventually saw him land at Barça before saying goodbye to the club in March of 1983.
