I want to inform Nigerians and foreigners and to allay their fears as to reasons why Nigeria will remain a united country even beyond 2015. And to the prophets of doom, who predicted that Nigeria will stop existing in 2015 with the following reasons. In doing that, i will try to be brief.

(1) GOD- It is the pillar upon which this country is founded. Nigeria can only break up when it is GOD' s wish. It is only a few countries in Africa that can be able to pass through what Nigeria had been through, and still remain one.

(2) PRAYERS- Those who are always praying for the peace, unity and progress of Nigeria day and night, far out weigh the numbers of those that wish the country to disintegrate.

(3) OIL- The disintegration of Nigeria can only be possible, if all the oil wells in Nigeria has dried up. please do not ask to explain this.

(4) FOREIGN INTEREST- Nigeria is not like any other African small countries. Nigeria has the highest population in Africa. If Nigeria should break up, the U.N and its affiliates will have huge humanitarian problems to contend with. Other countries which depend on Nigeria for one mineral deposit or another, will always want to buy from a centralized government.

(5) SACRIFICES MADE BY NIGERIANS- There are many Nigerians who were born in places other than their places of origin or home town. They grew in those places and married or got married there. Those people, do not know any other place than the place they are residing. Some of them own houses and chains of businesses.
