The new year kicks off with Round 3 of the FA Cup this weekend, and Southampton will be hosting Manchester United at St Mary's Stadium on Sunday, 16.00GMT. That's 5pm Nigerian time.

SAF is confident his team is in good shape right now, though they struggled a bit against Middlesbrough on Sunday. With the exception of Hargreaves, all of the Reds are fit and raring to go. Team selection will most likely be all-attacking as United seek to fill up their cabinet with even more trophies, and a win to start the new year is definitely desired.

Southampton haven't had very good runs of late, but I'm sure they will put up a good fight on Sunday.

Time will tell how things will go when the Devils meet the Saints.

Happy New Year people kiss
