Tunis, Aymen Mathlouthi, goalkeeper of Tunisia's national soccer team, was picked, Monday by the Technical Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in the "dream" team of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) that ended on Sunday in Bata (Equatorial Guinea), with the final win of Côte d'Ivoire over Ghana won on shootout penalties 9-8 (0-0 after extra time). The goalkeeper of the Carthage Eagles conceded only five goals throughout the tournament, including two from the penalty spot, against Cape Verde in the first round and another against Equatorial Guinea in the quarterfinals. Algerian defender Aissa Mandi was also included in the dream team along with Ghanaian Andre Ayeu, AFCON top scorer with three goals and Ivorian Gervinho, African champion with the Elephants. In total, CAF dream team included a Tunisian, an Algerian, five Ivorians, two Ghanaians, one Cameroonian and one South African.
