UN calls for withdrawal.
Hamas negotiates with Abbas.
Palestinian Authority under Fatah reinstalled in Gaza.
Israel withdraws.

It wouldn't suprise me if the plan all along hasn't been to reinstall Abbas and Fatah as the power-brokers in Gaza.

Also, at the end of the ceasefire, Hamas wanted to renegotiate an extension of the ceasefire, but Israel refused to enter negotiations for further ceasefire because the competing political parties in Israel's upcoming election wanted to use Palestinian dead bodies to assure the people that they are "being tough on terror".
