What kind of question is that? Didn't the simple text says, a man ought not to have long hair. ...and this long hair has been given by God to a woman for her covering. Is it then hard for you to understand the man is NOT already covered by keeping short hair? Why do we made void the simplicity of the word?

You don't need to be bald to be uncovered. Long hair means hanging hair; a hair that hangs down the lenght of your face. That is what covers your head.

So even if you're not bald, but your hair does not hang down the lenght of your face; then you have a short hair, and your head is not covered; it is uncovered.

Most guys don't have hanging hair like women, so even if they're not bald, their head is still uncovered. So its not until you're bald that your head is uncovered as a man.

Why do you think Christians should continue keeping rules when or if they have the Holy Spirit? I don't think it's about options but what does the word says? Mr. A says, I was taught of the Spirit and Mrs B says the same thing, is the Holy Spirit divided? It's the word the confirms the TRUTH. What does the word says?

At the close of the passage the teaching is totally different than putting a covering, a katakalupto, on your head. The passage in Greek teaches women to do that and in addition it teaches that your long hair is like a vest. When the passage says, "instead" the hair is given instead of a covering the Greek is saying that the hair is given instead of a vest, not instead of the head covering katakalupto.

I know it's difficult. I know it would have "popped" out so much more clearly if the translators had simply translated the close of the passage the way the Greek does ...

"A woman/wife is have long hair, glory to her it is; for the long hair instead of a vest is given to her."

That is the exact teaching in Greek.

There is no way the Bible is saying wear your hair instead of your vest. It's saying that your long hair could be vest-like, mantle-like it covers that well. But the passage does not say that your hair/vest is THE covering, the katakalupto, so painstakingly taught above.

Peribolaion is NOT the head covering referred to in 1 Corinthians 11:4-13, as the Apostle Paul only used this word to make a symbolic representation.
If not, why did he spend so much time stressing a very important fact from verses 4-13, and then make it all seem unimportant in verse 15; then why make all that emphasis in the first place ?
People who understood Greek thousands of years ago enforced this practice of Christian women putting on head coverings.
Why is this simple command so difficult for you to understand ?
Once we die and leave this earth, there will be no excuses; for me it's better to be safe than sorry. There'll be no more chance to repent. Even while we are alive, obedience is better than sacrifice.
Up till today, the Jewish women still cover their hair, the messianic Jewish women still cover their hair, but western Christian women of today understand this. One of the reasons that western Christian women give for not covering their hair, is that it's not their culture, however, they agree that Peribolaion is not the Head covering, that's why majority of them have now thrown out the ' long hair as a covering' issue. They have short hair nowadays in churches. Yes, these days the Caucasian Christian women maintain low-cut.
This is clearly seen as hypocrisy. But Nigerian Christian women or other Africans/ Asians don't appreciate what's happening or perhaps they simply choose to be blind and don't question these inconsistencies in the behaviour of the Caucasian Christian women, perhaps due to colonial mentality

Why do Christian women preachers begin to get jittery when they see a head covering Christian sister ? It's because they feel guilty !
It pricks their conscience a lot, despite the fact that they are currently in the majority, who don't wear head coverings.
Let's not forget that with God, majority doesn't carry the votes. But to the contrary. Remember the great flood ? Only eight people survived out of all humanity - Noah and his family members. God has not changed His standards. So the daughters of Eve, should think again and repent before it's too late !
