That's why I wonder if those who encourage people to endure violence even observe their environments at all. This man learned it from home as did his brothers. Bad thing soulglo: It seems even when these women leave their lives are still in danger. One of them was already divorced and he hunted her down. This lady was already on her way out. She should have lodged in a hotel. The one who got killed last year had lived out of town in school. It was when she came back she was murdered. I hope mothers are watching these threads closely. The atmosphere you choose to remain in and raise your children is their foundation for the future. I also know of families where every single man beats their wives. It really is a learned behavior in most cases 1 Like |

Another incident of a Nigerian man who murdered his wife in the US, this story sent a chill down my spine:
Man Held in Death of Wife Who Was Dragged Behind Van
September 14, 1996
An Inglewood man who police said roped his wife's body to the rear of his van and dragged it through the streets for more than a mile was arrested Friday on suspicion of murder.
Jude Nwandu, 44, was being held without bail after his arrest about 2:30 a.m.
Police were patrolling near Inglewood Avenue and Buckthorn Street when they saw Nwandu's van pulling his wife's limp body, which was attached to the van at the ankles, authorities said.
The officers chased the car, which sped down the street. The rope broke and the body of Georginia Nwandu, 38, was flung to the side of the road. Jude Nwandu was chased for about a mile before he crashed into a parked car in the 900 block of East La Brea Drive.
Officers were not sure if Georginia Nwandu was dead before she was dragged behind the vehicle, but police said they found a great deal of blood at the couple's condominium on West Buckthorn Street.
Man Charged With Murder in Wife's Death
September 18, 1996
Jude Nwandu, arrested last week on charges of killing his wife and dragging her body behind his van, was charged Monday with one count of murder and one count of felony evasion at his arraignment in Inglewood Municipal Court.
Nwandu, 44, a Nigerian national living in Inglewood, was chased by police last Friday when they saw a body tied at the ankles being dragged behind a van. When they tried to stop Nwandu, he led police on a one-mile chase, officials said.
The coroner's department completed its autopsy on Georginia Nwandu and determined that she died from head trauma and strangulation and had been run over by a car. She apparently died before her body was tied to the van, coroner's spokesman Scott Carrier said.
Nwandu is being held on $1 million bail. The couple's five children, ages 1 through 12, were taken into custody by the county Children's Protective Services department. http://articles.latimes.com/1996-09-18/local/me-44991_1_charged-murder-wife |

babyosisi: TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - A Tampa man has been convicted of beating his wife to death with a baseball bat.
A Hillsborough County jury found 56-year-old Olufemi Ademoye guilty Friday of second-degree murder. He faces 25 years to life in prison at his March sentencing.
Authorities say Ademoye and his wife, Juliet Ademoye, got into an argument at their Tampa home in June 2010, and Olufemi Ademoye later went to a neighbor’s house to tell them his wife had a heart attack. The neighbors called 911, and when deputies responded, they found the wife covered in blood. Deputies found the wife’s blood throughout the house and on an aluminum baseball bat.
Defense attorneys argued that Juliet Ademoye died from an accidental fall.
