PDP READY TO HANDOVER TO YOUNGER PEOPLE- CHIEF RAYMOND DOKPESI
http://nasoweseeam.com/pdp-leadership-stepping-aside/

Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party e-Membership Registration Committee, Chief Raymond Dokpesi, has stated that the former ruling party has concluded plans to handover power to younger generation. The Daar Communications boss made this disclosure while speaking during the official inauguration of the party’s electronic registration in Etsako East Local Government Area of Edo State on Friday. He explained that, though the party has not drifted from the ideals of the founding fathers, part of the objectives of the project was to return the party to its members, many of whom belonged to the younger generation and were in tune with modern ways of doing things (dailypost.ng).

Assets Declaration: 'We Will Not Publicly Declare Our Assets' – APC Govs

The Coalition Against Corrupt Leaders, CACOL, has come hard on the decision of governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, not to publicly declare their assets as President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo have done.

It will be recalled that the APC governors said it was not compulsory for them to declare their assets publicly and that they would not be pressured into following the President’s example, adding that there was no law mandating them to publicly state the worth of their assets and liabilities.

Reacting to this, the Executive Director, CACOL, Mr. Debo Adeniran, in a statement on Saturday, dismissed the governors’ excuse, saying it was a known fact that public assets declaration, a standard practice in the developed world, increases transparency and the trust of citizens in their elected representatives (dailypost.ng).

#PDP CASH CRUNCH- WORKERS TAKE PAY CUT
http://nasoweseeam.com/pdp-cash-crunch-bites-staff/

From Punchng.com: Cash crunch forces PDP to slash workers’ pay. The Peoples Democratic Party is broke and it has cut the salaries of its workers at the national headquarters by 35 per cent, The PUNCH has learnt. The leadership of the former ruling PDP, our correspondent learnt, decided to slash the salaries of the workers because of the dwindling income of the party, which was ousted from power barely four months ago after it had controlled power at the centre for 16 years. Some of the workers at the party’s Wadata House national secretariat in Abuja told our correspondent on Monday that they had agreed to the cut.

OBJ versus Tinubu in PMB Ministers list.
http://nasoweseeam.com/obj-versus-tinubu-in-pmb-ministers-list/

Ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo and Bola Tinubu, former governor of Lagos state, have clashed over the formation of President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet. The first casualty in the war between two politicians became former Lagos state commissioner for finance and a nominee of Tinubu into the cabinet, Wale Edun. New Telegraph reports that Edun, who Tinubu had suggested to Buhari as Minister of Finance, has been missed despite being screened by the security service… Former president reportedly called Tinubu and urged him to stop from pushing Edun as Ogun state nominee. He was said to have cautioned that Ogun people would not let Tinubu to fill the slot of the state with somebody whose work and career were rooted in Lagos state. At the meeting with Buhari, Tinubu and Akande purportedly told Nigerian leader that South-West APC leaders would not receive a situation where Obasanjo would choose those who become ministers (naij.com).

Trump: Syrian migrants not welcome to the U.S.!
http://nasoweseeam.com/trump-syrian-migrants-not-welcome-to-the-u-s/

In New Hampshire Wednesday night, Donald Trump stated that any migrants coming to the United States are “going back” if he becomes president. “I’m putting people on notice that are coming here from Syria as part of this mass migration, that if I win, they’re going back!” he said, adding: “They could be ISIS …This could be one of the great tactical ploys of all time. A 200,000-man army maybe, or if you said 50,000 or 80,000 or 100,000, we got problems and that could be possible. I don’t know that it is, but it could be possible so they’re going back — they’re going back.” (from msnbc.com)

Oregon college shooting: U.S. brand of terrorism?
http://nasoweseeam.com/oregon-college-shooting-u-s-brand-of-terrorism/

As is the case in pretty much every single mass shooting, the killer in Oregon got hold of his guns legally. The New York Times confirms the inevitable: ROSEBURG, Ore. — The man who killed nine people and severely wounded several others at a community college here went on his rampage armed with six guns, multiple extra ammunition magazines and a flak jacket, and left seven other firearms at home, law enforcement officials said Friday. In all, the gunman had owned 14 firearms, said Celinez Nunez, an agent of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, including one he had traded in. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department said the gunman took five handguns and a rifle to Umpqua Community College on Thursday morning, and had two pistols, four rifles and a shotgun in his apartment. “All 14 have been traced to a federal firearms dealer,” some bought by the gunman and others by members of his family, said Ms. Nunez, the assistant special agent in charge of the Seattle field office. “They were all purchased legally.” (from nationalreview.com)

A Doctors Without Borders hospital in Afghanistan was struck accidentally after Afghan forces called for air support from the American military, Gen. John Campbell, the commander of U.S. forces in Afghanistan, said Monday. Saturday’s bombardment in Kunduz has sparked international outrage. It killed 12 medical staff members and at least 10 patients, three of them children, Doctors Without Borders said. Another 37 people were wounded, according to the global charity group, which works in conflict zones to help victims of war and other tragedies. Every person who died at the hospital was Afghan, the group said. Addressing reporters Monday at the Pentagon, Campbell said initial reports indicated the airstrike was called to protect U.S. forces (from cnn.com).

FIFA President faces suspension.
http://nasoweseeam.com/fifa-president-faces-suspension/

Fifa president Sepp Blatter is facing a 90-day provisional suspension. Members of Fifa’s ethics committee have recommended the sanction after the Swiss attorney general opened criminal proceedings against the 79-year-old. He is accused of signing a contract “unfavourable” to football’s governing body and making a “disloyal payment” to Uefa president Michel Platini. Blatter denies any wrongdoing and his lawyers said he had “not been notified of any action”. European football’s chief Platini – who wants to succeed Blatter – has said the payment was “valid compensation” from his time working under the Swiss more than nine years ago. The investigatory chamber of Fifa’s ethics committee has requested the ban and a final decision is likely to be made on Thursday by Hans Joachim Eckhert, the head of Fifa’s ethics adjudicatory chamber (from bbc.com).

EFCC begins probe of ministerial nominees.
http://nasoweseeam.com/efcc-begins-probe-of-ministerial-nominees/

As it would seem, what would have been a dream come true for those who made it into Buhari’s coveted minsterial list, is now a cause for concern. But this is only if they have some ‘less than savory’ dealings from their past. Why? It seems that the authorities are about to do some snooping around into their ‘business’ dealings and if they are found wanting… well it is no more news that the present government is on a corruption purge crusade. On my part I would say “On with it lads!”. In fact everyone should be probed! Of course this is not a very practical position because every sector probably has some bad eggs and it would take millennia for the government to get through all the muck. But back to the probe of the nominees for ministers in Buhari’s government, I wonder how many politicians would be scrambling to make the second list now. The drama unfolds, and Nasoweseeam will be there to give you the gist!

Pageant contestants go topless for breast cancer support.
http://nasoweseeam.com/pageant-contestants-go-topless-for-breast-cancer-support/

It has come to my notice that many a white woman (and black women if the money is right) would make any excuse to go naked in public. Hey, while I’m not complaining I wish they would just be honest about the whole thing and stop trying to fool us that they are doing it for some kind of altruistic purpose. I mean they take their clothes off to protest cruelty to animals, women’s rights, gay rights, pollution, breast cancer… I’m sure you get the point. It’s like they are trying to turn the planet into a giant strip club. And it’s not just in foreign climes. In in Nigeria women would go naked to curse a person that has done them wrong and wish some kind of diabolical evil.

I wonder what the work place would be like if we all showed our displeasure by donning our birthday suits. The water dispenser isn’t working- lets go nude! Coffee was cold- nude time! We have to work later than normal- nudity galore. For all you know it might take the edge of a stressful work place.

Back to our dear Irish Miss Bikini contest sisters. If you really want to show support for breast cancer, why do something that would make you look more sexy and cause accidents around town? (yes, a cyclist actually had an accident looking at these luscious damsels). To really show your support for the victims who go through intense pain and trauma, why not shave your heads! I think this will bring you a bit closer to feeling as shitting as the real cancer patients feel. Just saying.

Trump and Bush in juvenile twitter war.
http://nasoweseeam.com/trump-and-bush-in-juvenile-twitter-war/

Donald Trump is using Jeb Bush’s famous last name against him once again this time hammering away at the point that the 9/11 attacks happened on former President George W. Bush’s watch (people.com).

The political shenanigans going on in the battle over who will become the flag bearer for the republican party in the next American presidential elections is being done on Twitter like some childish hiphop beef? This is at least the case between Trump and Bush. Has America become this superficial? I think the country has fallen into a deep drunken stupor and a psychotic addiction to reality t.v., game shows and the bizarre. Why else will this silliness be happening?

While I think this is right up Trump’s alley (he is playing to his strengths and turning the entire thing into a show) Jeb Bush on the other hand I do not understand. Why is he so gullibly falling for Trump’s ploy. You definitely can’t out-trump the Trumpster. Little wonder why Trump is giving him a whooping according to the polls.

For the rest of America keep watching and getting all the entertainment you can from this newest chart breaking political version of ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’. But be warned, when the show is over, real life goes on. Then you would have to live with your choices. Reality and Reality t.v. are two entirely different things!
