A Volkswagen golf car allegedly loaded with fake ballot papers was arrested by officers and men of Zamfara statePolice Command.According an unconfirmed source at the state force headquarters,the suspected golf driver who declared that he was heading toSokoto allegedly attempted to offer the police officers the sum of120,000 Naira just to allow him go.But Radio France International reported that, the vehicles were twoeven though the state Police Command Public Relations Officer DSPLawal Abdullahi declined comment on the ground that investigationin to the matter is ongoing.It was not clear as at the time of filling this report whether thesuspected ballot papers are thumb printed as claimed in somequarters.Governor Abdul’azeez Yari and his political godfather SenatorAhmad Rufai Sani were conducting the APC political campaign atMagami when they received the news of the arrest of the suspectedcar.Zamfara State Commissioner of Information Alh Ibrahim BirninMagaji told Radio France International that, Zamfara stategovernment will not rest on its oars till the matter is investigated toits logical conclusion.

Its a big shame that whenever the issue of ballot papers being found comes up, PDP apologists come here to spew tantrums accusing APC...they're ignoring the fact that it is their party that is trying to clamp down on the use of the card readers as theyve already stashed enough ballot papers for multiple voting.
