Questions For Nigerians From Non-Nigerians Dating Nigerians by Bhola(f): 9:44pm On Aug 27, 2006
It has come to my notice that we have non-Nigerians dating Nigerians here and most come with one question or the other. This thread is for asking questions and we (Nigerians) will try and give you answers. And the questions we don't have answers to, we'll be kind enough to direct you to the right place to get the answers.

Nigerians, reasonable ones o, Please kindly respond to the questions that might be raised. Non-Nigerians, try and ask specific questions with examples. That way we can better answer your questions.

Hope this will help in any way.

Hi Bhola and Gigitte -
Thank you for all of your help from the previous topic which I guess I had cut into, since the topic not as accurate to my situation as the one here.
I do feel as if I had my questioned answered, and kindly, the way I believe any ignorance should be treated. I was feeling quite confused, and now I can see that much of my recent experience was due to this particular man's behavior, rather than his Nigerian upbringing, but that some of his behavior was perhaps more culturally conditioned rather than individually decided.
I think that with people living in NYC, there is an assumption that all of us are just people, regardless of where you are from, as well as an assumption that everyone is playing with the same NYC defined definitions, which are different from anywhere else in the world,
But thank you very much for all of your input. This is a great forum.
