He's been improving attacking wise since last season and now joins the ranks of Giggs and Scholes. Carrick needs a partner in holding position, more reason why Man U crave for Hargreaves, someone who can win the ball every now and then and who does not necessarily want to go forward all the time.

Ronaldo is not a striker, but can play as a supporting striker if the need arises, like Keiron Dyer.
