16 year now. Since Econet launched. Still on as an airtel subscriber but with the initial Econet Sim card launch.

MY Glo has been around since June 2004 and grew to the extent that it has grown short.

Have had my MTN since 2006 that's 9years if am right.

No welcome back have been done but yet MTN hardly gives me freebies

I have done welcome back for all my lines except etisalat.


All these people that said their father bought GSM line in 2000 are lying. GSM service was launched in NIGERIA in 2001...

mine is Glo since 2004

Mine is eleven years old. Got it in 2003 for 6k. Paid half of that and was supposed to be charged 500 naira monthly for six months subsequently but till today I haven't been charged for that. #teamglobacom

I got my line year 2003,dats 12years ago nd I bought it when our airtel line was ECONET.

Jezz!!!! 2005. Reminds me of my mum's present glo sim, from 2002. Without welcome back. And my dad has being using the same number from 2000. Though he has welcomed the sim back several times because of lost phones.

Mine is 6 years, I got it during my SIWES.

I never welcomed it back.

I've been using my etisalat SIM since launch. I suppose that should be 2008 or thereabout.
