Even though MTN can be so annoying at times, I just can't leave the network

I remember begging my dad back then to get me the sim just because of Xtracool

Mine is 14yrs now. Same sim card since 2001 till date.

Since 2007 till date.not lost did just one intentional welcome back.

GLO 11years and MTN 10years. 2004 and 2005 respectively.

Jezz!!!! 2005. Reminds me of my mum's present glo sim, from 2002. Without welcome back. And my dad has being using the same number from 2000. Though he has welcomed the sim back several times because of lost phones.

GSM 1st call was made in Aug/Sep 2001, so your dad couldn't have had his line sine 2000. Glo launched in late 03 so your mum also couldn't have had her line since 02.

Had an Econet SIM for 12 years and a Glo SIM for 8 years until they were stolen in December 2014.

Mine is 10 years now, and i have never for once done welcome back.

Never had a cause to change the sim.MTN suppose reward me for loyalty but they are very stingy.

I will port to another network if they continue like this after 12years of using their network

Maybe u used Nitel land line then cos GSM came to existence in mid 2001. I remember vividly!

Mine is 13 years and I have never retrieve the line.

I don't use simcard for long, highest is 3yrs... I change it often

10 years 2005 (no welcome back)

GLO & MTN both 2008.MTN celebrated my 7th anniversary with a 500% recharge bonus last Friday.

since 2006 with several welcome backs and recent portings to etisalat and airtel but just came back to mtn a week ago so, my sim is a week old yay
