One Adamawa based socio-political group, Adamawa Think-Tank, has applauded previous Vice President Atiku Abubakar for the production of occupations for the indigenes of the state regardless of what it called "serial betrayal" or absence of response by the people.

The chairman of the group, Danladi Danasabe told journalists: “I can confidently tell you that in terms of finances, the Turaki even spends more than the state government‎ as far as wage bill is concerned.
He said that Atiku’s companies such as the Faro group, Gotel TV and Radio stations, the American University of Nigeria and others have provided direct and indirect jobs to more than ‎50,000 citizens of the state.
