Dstv Monopoly Too Costly For Nigerians! by dapperman(m): 6:41pm On Jan 16
Rushed home yesterday night so I can relax and watch the 2nd leg copa del rey semi final between real Madrid and Athletico. It didn't happen. No show. Ok make I watch Asian cup which is currently on going too. No show. I no understand why I go pay N11,600 and my neighbour pays N3,150 on CTL and watches all games LIVE. Am kinda thinking this multi choice monopoly isn't paying us Nigerians at all!

Go for ABG, it costs me only N3,500 every month to watch all my matches. An end must come to slave trade from DSTV. I used to have them before not until they start to act so funny.

Please enlighten me, how does it work or hook me up

Increase in prices is the second phase of a mismanaged economy after energy shortage (fuel scarcity), next is job loss, sai jonathan wont you say?

Nigerians you need to be aware that by June 1 every analogy TV stations in Nigeria will not transmit on their platform again. The change over has already be done in Jos and some Lagos State TV stations like LTV, Channels and AIT will not transmit again on analogy by that April.

The only Platform Federal Government and NTA created for other Nigeria Tv stations is Startimes and this major reason why NTA and Startimes comes in partnership. Because this some newly station has utilize the opportunity to secure their channel number on startimes such as Rave Tv, Wazobia & Cool Tvs and many more stations.
For this reason startimes has opportunities to have more channels than Gotv, recently Startimes has add more stations to their platform.

Same here. CTL Enugu is not bad, but their "no signal" wahala too much, once it rains, you lose your signal.

I used MCL in Aba, MCL is cheaper( 2,100 naira) and better than CTL( 3,150). The problem is that MCL is not in Enugu.

That is the problem we are having in this country, South African monopolizing Nigerian in their country and nobody to speak for us. They seize all the good football right so that no other pay tv will get the licence. StarTimes have over 80 quality Channels just that they don't show EPL. Let's go for StarTimes and watch what they have.
