Anyone who knows about politics and history of elections around the world will tell you that in most cases when the citizens and members of the public are energised and excited about elections the opposition tends to profit from it but when the citizens are disillusioned about the elections or there is voter apathy then the incumbent most likely wins.

My question then is why are APC sustaining the rumours about elections being postponed? who's interest is it? if their supportes are not excited or do not believe in the process how can APC possibly get-out-the-vote on elections day?

It begs the question then? does APC not want the elections to hold? Do they believe that Buhari will definitely be disqualified and hoping that the elections could be shifted again or this transition process brought to an abrupt end so that they can swap their candidates?

Why is APC casting doubts about an election when the President, INEC Chairman and Security chiefs have all said they do not see any need to postpone the elections any further beyond the constitutionally allowed period.

APC is clearly hoping that elections do not hold!

It will benefit them if elections do not hold.

They will now have a good reason to form their parallel government.
