Major Daniel Idowu Bamidele (1949 - March 5, 1986)[1] was a Nigerian army officer who was executed by the government of Major General Ibrahim Babangida for failing to report an alleged conspiracy against the government, what is popularly referred to as the "Vatsa Coup".
