The All Progressives Congress governorship
candidate for Lagos State, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode,
on Saturday said the party would use the remaining
days before elections to fast and pray for victory.
Ambode made this known while addressing APC
members and supporters in Lagos, who engaged in a 9.2km walk.
He addressed the APC members and supporters at
the Teslim Balogun Staduim, Surelere, Lagos, where
they ended the walk.
“We will commit the remaining days before the
elections to fasting and prayers and ensure that APC
gets 100 per cent votes,” Ambode said.
Ambode said APC had proven a point with the walk.
According to him, the party will give prosperity to
Nigerians, if voted for.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the walk
tagged “March For Change” was flagged off by the
National Leader of the party, Chief Bola Tinubu, at
Maryland at 8.00a.m.
The walk terminated at 1.05p.m. at the stadium.
In his address, Tinubu, appealed to Nigerians to vote for the party’s candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
Tinubu, the immediate past Governor of Lagos State,
said the party’s presidential candidate, retired Gen.
Muhammadu Buhari, was passionate about
transforming the country.
“I thank you all for the walk today. Now, we have
marched for that change we are clamouring for;
marching for common sense revolution.

I want Lagosians to be aware of the gimmicks of
APC, that the million man march is only aimed at
deceiving the onlooker that Ambode is popular.
Now, Ambode is saying that himself and other APC
members will fast and pray for electoral victory.
Take a second look at Ambode, does he look like a
deciplined person? I do not think that man can
deprive himself of a meal for just 3 hours, talk more
of a whole 21 days. We should not forget that
Fashola did not want him as his successor, if not for

Like seriously? is it part of the campaign plan from
