ELECTIONS 2015: Ogun INEC Takes Delivery Of Additional 170,000 Pvcs by mrofficial(m): 12:44am On Mar 11, 2015

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Ogun state, has received additional 170,000 Permanent Voter Cards from its headquarters in Abuja.

The State Administrative Secretary of the commission, Mr. Dickson Atiba, disclosed this on Tuesday while briefing journalists at the INEC office in Abeokuta.

He said the commission received between 170,000 and 190,000 PVCs, and noted that remaining ones would be brought before Friday this week.

He said, “The PVCs just arrived from Abuja. We have them in cartons, we have like 74 cartons that have just come.

“We have 15 cartons for Ifo Local government, 12 cartons for Ijebu-ode Local government, 14 cartons for Ado-Odo/ Ota Local government, 19 cartons for Sagamu Local government, four cartons for Odogbolu Local government, 1 carton for Obafemi Owode Local government, 1 carton for Abeokuta South Local government, 1 carton for Abeokuta North, 1 carton for Ijebu East and then we have some pieces which are in about five small cartons.

“We can not tell the exact number that are in a carton, unless we count them. But in rough estimation, all should be less than 200,000. It is above 150,000 and less than 200,000. It is between 170,000 and 190,000.”

Shouldn't Jega Relinguish His Position For Deceiving Nigerians They Were Ready For Elections In February?

I believe INEC should apologise to Nigerians for claiming they were ready for the Feb election....I sincerely they deliver the remaining Ogun State PVC as stated. So many things are not just right. Guess they will meet up with the printing of the new ballot papers too? Hmmm..it is well. May God bless Nigeria.

So INEC was not even ready after the hullabaloo?

Trust me, We avoided a major disaster shifting that election from February 14th ! All hell would have let loose if we had gone ahead with it.

The supposed clueless one wasn't so clueless after all

There are two kinds of people in Nigeria today, those
who want CHANGE and those who want CONTINUITY. If
you want change you are safe, if you want continuity
there are two things involved, is either you reside in
OGUN or you are in PDP. If you are in ogun you are
safe, if you are in PDP there are two things involved, is
either you are Jonathan's family or you are naturally
corrupt. If you are Jonathan's family you are safe
because u are going back to Otuoke but if you are
naturally corrupt, there are two things involved, is
either you leave this country before March 28 or you
remain. If you leave this country you are save but if you
remain, there is ONLY one thing involved, YOU ROT IN
JAIL!

That's the one-million-dollar question. The APC INEC Chairman told the world they were ready for the elections as at Feb 14 but new PVCs are been distributed to states as at March 11. Do Nigerian Universities perform integrity tests on people before they are crowned Professors? Jega is undoubtedly compromised. His deceit is so glaring.

The more reason I still suspect the Synchronization of APC and INEC on the February 14 election date.

Even till date, People supporting APC never saw anything wrong with Feb 14. Even up till last Sunday on channels TV. Fayemi was still saying the election should have gone on as scheduled.

We can blame the President for everything. but sometimes we should tell ourselves the truth.

I still insist that Nigerians are being hugely manipulated. If they can hold on a little, some things will become clearer to all.

Mark my word: Inec won't be ready by March 28. The earliest they can reach a "substantial" level of readiness is mid April.
