I struggled. To save. 500000naira,I need a modest,strong and cheap parts for maintenance vehicle.I research and found 1998 Mazda 323,1995 corolla,1998 almera and 1994 Camry.can you guys assist in selection of modest car of 500000.thanks

You can get a tokunbo 94 camry for 500k and you can get a 9ja used 99 camry for 500k as well.

my advice is DAT u don't buy a car worth exactly 500k u should b aiming at a car worth 400-450k.
from what u said, u struggled to save up DAT 500k, cars can be funny @ tyms so you won't regret bin a car owner.
my view though.

I really envy your courage for coming out and stating the fact, but if I were in your shoes, I won't buy a car worth exactly that amount, I will save 100k set it aside for eventuality, there are only two cars that comes to my mind that you can get for a lesser price and value for money.
Fuel efficient
Parts are cheap
Reliable
Can seat upto 5 but will seat 4 very comfortable
Mechanics can fix it easily
Will be pocket friendly on maintenance
Tested and trusted brands
And they are
1. NISSAN MICRA
2. A nigerian used facelifted KIA PICANTO am thinking its from 2008 to 2012 model year

Those cars are a little bit miniature but they are rugged and parts are pocket friendly.

hmm.i dont like buying naija used car especially here am staying where we have a lot of bad roads and flooded roads that these cars pass everyday.not all person can maintain their car in such way that if you buy from them,you will enjoy it.

Then save abt 700k b4 u can buy toks, remember u will do d following after purchase of toks too, it is called initial expenses
1. Registration. Abt 35k
2. Four brand new tyres. Abt 60k
3. New battery abt 15k
4. Get driving license if u neva get 13k
5. Change oil n oil filter abt 5k
6. Change atf oil ie u r unlucky
7. Cost of delivery to ur location
8. Others 10k

Total abt 128k additional expenses
I agree with u toks is d best but there r some good naija used cars too but u need a lot of patience to get one

dont say 700k.a yoruba man i know went with his brother to cotonou and was able to get 1998 mazda 323 for 520k down to south-south.i am not keen on fancy car now,but i beleive with good assistance(maybe with small fee),someone could be assisted to get good car with of 500k even if is corolla 1992.leave the inital expences now,when motor is on ground,those thing will be sorted out.
