This topic have been created to finally lay to rest the war of popularity between the pro PDP and pro APC folks on Nairaland. A thread was created few days ago asking who would you vote for if elections were to be conducted now. And of course the pro APC folks got the highest number of Likes. But then again, another thread was created to counter it, claiming that the number of Likes on any pro APC post was as a result of numerous monikers created by them just for the purpose of dashing out Likes. He also argued that the mods could also be responsible for inflating the number of Likes for the pro APC group (I personally don't think this is plausible, but then again, it just could be...)

So I have taught about this and decided to give you guys a chance to test your popularity on Nairaland by following these simple set of rules that I have come up with. If these rules are adhere to strictly, it would determine the true state of event.

Let's get started with the rules;

1. One moniker, one vote. What this means is that you can only vote once, if you are caught voting more than once, your initial one vote would be rendered null and void.

2.This vote would not be determined by the number of Likes you get. NO! All you need do is type #GMB for the pro APC folks and #GEJ for the pro PDP folks. Nothing more. Just those 4 letters. Don't tell us why you are voting for your candidate. Just either #GMB or #GEJ

3. The number of Likes you get on either votes would count for nothing. What this means is that weather you get 100+ Likes for a single #GMB or #GEJ post, it would still count as just one vote.

4. Finally, here comes the most interesting part. By simply clicking on the monikers, you can view their profiles, previous post and topics. Any moniker that has not had more 10 posts (prior to this day) in his/her previous T/L on Nairaland, such monikers would be regarded as bogus and inactive and their votes won't count. This is to filter off those guys that create multiple monikers for the simple reason on giving out Likes.

5. I will be updating the results at the end of each day and if there are invalid or disqualified votes that won't count, I would copy of the monikers involved and clearly state out the reasons why there votes were not valid.

Now, let's get started. Remember only #GMB or #GEJ. No Likes or Shares please.

p.s. This test is aimed to only reflect the popularity on Nairaland and not at the elections, only INEC can determine that after March 28.

CC: Obinoscopy, OAM4J, Seun please move this topic where it can get a lot of exposure in the politics section. thank you

1. One moniker, one vote.

What of the numerous APC e-rats who has at least 5 monikers each?

Anyway APC can win on the internet, the PDP prefers winning where it matters>>>> at elections.

Buhari has been winning elections on the internet since the 80s, he would forever remain a paper tiger.

Bye

I'll set up a tent here. It would be modified as soon as the competition gets into a frenzy.

Meanwhile, tell the APC that the PDP has performed well in Akwa-Ibom state and they'll continue to get the support of my people.

Stop wasting your time.

PDP and her supporters don't attach much importance to online polls. They know when to celebrate.

We are doing our homework. We meet on the turf on the 28th of March.

End of story.

The victory dey pain you gan o.

Pele, Ndo, Yakori.

GMB 2015.

Only a daft person will talk about multiple monikers voting, as if it is an exclusive Preserve of APC supporters, that is so illogical.

The reality is that anyone with at least an average form of enlightenment will tilt to support GMB, that is why all online polls conducted so far has gone one way.

@OP, if your sense of morality is that on your profile pix then you don't deserve to conduct a test for people because you ve got a warped mindset that degrades the female folk. #getsense
