Buhari in Kaduna, pledges amnesty to corrupt people

The presidential candidate for All Progressives Congress, APC, Maj. General Muhammadu Buhari said any attempt by the electorate to vote the Peoples Democratic Party again would certainly spell doom for Nigeria.

At a North-West zone rally,held at Kaduna Trade Fair Complex, Kawo , Kaduna, Buhari said it was high time the electorate voted to change the government that has impoverished Nigerians for over 16 years.

Buhari told his supporters that if voted he would ensure that Nigeria’s resources are judiciously deployed to tackle poverty, power supply problems and economic challenges facing the country under PDP led government.

He also maintained that his administration would not condone stealing and any form of corruption .

On the issue of past corrupt leaders facing trials in various court across the country, Buhari said he would allow the court to decide on those cases but pointed out that anyone indicted of corruption from 1999 to the
day he would be sworn-in would be pardoned.

He however, urged his supporters to get get their Permanent Voter Cards in order to vote out the PDP.
“If you don’t want to continue to suffer, to be enslaved and reduced to mere paupers, then vote APC from the presidential level all through to house of assembly candidates in the forthcoming elections”, he said.

Prominent among dignitaries present at the event were
APC National Chairman,
Chief John Oyegun, Rivers Governor and DG APC presidential campaign, Rotimi Ameachi, APC Vice Presidential Candidate,Prof Yomi Osinbajo, former Ekiti Governor,Segun Oni, Kaduna APC governorship candidate Malam Nasir El’Rufai, KanoGovernor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and other governorship, Senatorial, House of Representatives and House of Assembly candidates from the north-west zone, comprising Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Jigawa, Zamfara , Kebbi and Sokoto State.

I think the general is sugar coating on how he intends to fight corruption,so as to please the corrupt in our society.

Nobody should be pardoned unless they refund every dime of the stolen money.

For God's sake corruption is not all what he gonna do for 8years. Spare is this corruption issue and tell us the plans you have for the economic advancement of this nation.

matter of frankly,the major problem destroying Nigeria is corruption.

The contention here is that General Buhari is trying to win all possible votes by sugar coating on how he intends to fight corruption. If he really want to fight corruption he must be ready to get every of our stolen money,why the amnesty?. When corruption has caused our economy and the death of many due to bad projects.

The biggest Joke is that APC stands on wiping out insurgency and corruption. Insurgency is already becoming a thing of the past,but corruption that remains its mantra,is absurd were all Its financier are corrupt people.
