why do u want to cram, craming is one of the easiest way of NOT KNOWING how to code b'cos it will be like craming how somebody thinks .
what you should do is learn certain coding techniques from codes you see runiing around.

than you can see tutorials on javabeat.net, roseindia.net do lot of practice and you are good ta go.

Sorry, macromedia is a good tool., try it makes cooding jsps much faster

Since you already use Java, why not just use an IDE like Netbeans or Eclipse.
Cramming, Thats a bad idea! Just have to settle down to learn the fundamentals, unless you're ready to fix bugs.

write an hello world(servlet, jsp)
write a database CRUD(servlet, jsp)

then u are good. If already know java, databse access shouldn't be a problem right? and if u alre3ady do php, then u know all there's to know
