Igbos, y must all ur arguments be based on unhealthy competition and tribalism? U refer to south west as South West, a region where ur pple are hustling and have refused to leave abi. Change ur ways.... Learn to love, stop bragging stop hating!

But we hardly see movies in Igbo language unlike the Yoruba and Hausa

I actually was planning to stop using DSTV and use Qsat, cos of this singular act, increment or no increment, DSTV for now!

Exactly.

Why did these guys just add this channel now that people are planning to boycott DSTV?

ok if they dont but with time, they will, aint it?
now they have approved it, so with time ,they shall get there cos we ve many hansome igbo actors and beautiful igbo actresses who can speak igbo fluently ..
so with this accomplishment, our igbo producers and writers wil begin to write or do films in igbo language..
So if yu dnt like it, go and giv them ur own reasons to stop them frm launching it...
cos with time we shall excel more dan this.

What feasibility study are you talking about. Is it not the Nigeria you and me reside? Igbos do not have materials to sustain the station. They will run out of movies to show and become boring after repeating a movie several times. From my own perspective, the station is as a result of jealous and pressure from Igbo for their station.
Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu, probably not a Nigerian but married to an igbo man is d Director at Mnet Africa and she must be very good at wot she does to be in dat position and also seeing to d conception of igbowood ,she doesn't have two heads but one like u, so who are you?

No private company will ever make such a move if there is no profit no matter how pressurized to do...

To be honest, they have enough materials to sustain it. After all,the english part of nollywood is filled with ibo based content/culture .Well, I'm so happy for them and since I understand and speak ibo,I don't v a problem with it.
