Human beings can be selfishly wicked and appealing. It is very convenient for the Police authority to look on as if nothing is happening, it's much more convenient for the FG to just maintain silence in the face of suffering, yet, we want these same set of people to vote us for another term....HABA.....

If gods of man on earth is not seeing you all(FG and NPF), then God of heaven is watching all these.

All the money being used to campaign here and there will definitely, if channeled to the right source, alleviate the suffering of some people in this country......honestly people are suffering in this country....it is rather pathetic and incongruous on the part of the government to be insensitive

How can you just explain it that we all said let's appoint or elect some people to help us spend our national patrimony judiciously and equally on our behalf. By doing this, we gave them official cars with large entourage, office house, official house helps, official fuel, official salaries to make them comfortable, official health care facilities, etc, yet these same set of elected people not satisfied, still dip their filthy hands in the national purse to enrich themselves after they have been made comfortable with all the perks and privileges accrued to their positions.

Are these not enough for national disaster and calamity to start befalling and descending on these politicians irrespective of party affiliations?

Someone should go to our international airport in Lagos and see how thousands of Nigerians are leaving this country hurriedly, not because of elections, but in the bid to survive poverty, they most times go to some barbaric countries who are even worse of than Nigeria.....imagine 80percent of NANNIES in Cairo are Nigerian Girls....go to Middle East and North African countries and see how Nigerians are sweating it out under bizzare job specifications, jobs that they dare not say outside.

Over the years, Nigerian governments has failed us and they are still failing us the more. Presently, the more your work, the less pay you get at the end of the month, even with the fact that the money is even useless as P in Psychic.....how can a president of a country budgeted 1billion for feeding, when even his supporters are so wallowing in abject poverty of soul, mind and psychology? that money is enough to do so many projects in this country.

The problem of this country is the docile followership and not the leadership. Amaechi once said that the politicians will continue stealing because we the masses don't talk and we have this attitude of 'I don't care'. Someone will just wake up and increase the petrol pump price, and we just look on as if nothing is happening. The petrol was reduced to 87naira frm 97naira, and it's being sold even in NNPC for 100naira presently, and the president doesn't give any fucking damn....he's busy with elections I guess

When the chips are down, the masses suffers more, because most rich men we have in this country has evacuated all their families abroad because of post-election violence and safety. So why don't we shun ethnicity and tribalism and vote someone we know is going to better our lots right frm the councillor level to the President?

A word is enough for the wise

Yet we have a Sitting President doling out Millions of Dollars to Traditional rulers and religious leaders, giving out billions in contracts to Militants and ethnic secessionists and wasting the scarce resources that could have ameliorate the pains and cries of the citizenry.

I pray God forgive Nigeria for whatever sins we committed that made him punish the country with a PRESIDENT like Badluck JonaTAN, no Nation anywhere in the world deserves to have this guy as a Leader.

My greatest pity for the people of Nigeria is the multitude who for ethnic bigotry are blind to the injustice ravaging the country or feel the people affected are not racially connected to them.

I wished bad governanace is selective and affect some people more than others.

Guess you were in dreamland when the Police Pension fraud scam dominated the airwaves or you were not aware of some people who were probed for stealing the pensions of police officers. How many of those caught are in jail or returned their loots? They are all free today cos the president isn't concerned about fighting corruption in the system. Where is Stella Oduah today? How about Fani kayode, fayose, alamiesigha, and their likes.

The buck end on his table, if he feels the task is overwhelming for him he should step aside. There is no compulsion in leading, I'm sure if you have a family member going through what this people are passing through you wont be saying this.

Some people have diverted those benefits. However, stealing is not corruption. Case closed.

Enjoy your Fresh air.

I don't like policemen at all. For what they do to nigerians, the policemen deserve everything that happens to them. They are worse than animals.

At the same time, it is even worse by the police authorities to withhold the stipend that's due to these women. How could the NPF be this callous to their own? Why should these women and children suffer to get their entitlement?

This is the time for us all to rise and raise our voices and support these oppressed families. Remember the police is your "friend"!

We can open a nairaland appeal fund. We can all donate small "change" every now and then, from which we can help fellow nigerians in dire need of help. Nairaland can be a very powerful and positive medium for change. Good things can come from NL. A new nigeria can come out here, where we will be our brother's keeper.

God bless NL. God bless Nigerians.

You saw where I wrote if he feels the job is too tasking he should leave.

Having so much to grapple like I'm asking he should the one to.find out why the widows have not been paid.

It is about building institutions and ensuring that those institutions work. Obama does not do it all in the US but you have institutions there that are checks and balances in the way things are done and run.

What has happened to ICPC and EFCC under his leadership?
