The most potent and consequential combination of words in human history.

The simplest truth ever told.

An indisputable statement of fact.

Never challenged in any law court or debated by any congress or disputed by any ruler.

The statement of the declaration of American independence July 4,1776.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident,that all men are created equal,
that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights,
that among these are life,liberty and the pursuit of Happiness"

Authored by Thomas Jefferson,the first American secretary of states.

About eight decades later,an apostle of human freedom,Abraham Lincoln
made this statement the cardinal of his political philosophy and then
issued THE EMMANCIPATION PROCLAMATION OF 1863,an executive order
that seeks to free the slaves from slave masters.

One hundred years later,the greatest political and moral leader in human history
Martin Luther King Junior who did not hold any political post, professed and reiterated this declaration.

He insisted that the slaves must be free from the slave masters.

To me, it is not only the slaves but;

The captives free from their captors.

The oppressed free from the oppressors.

The preys free from predators.

The weak free from the strong.

The poor free from the shackles of the rich.

The simple free from the grip of the wicked.

The lamb free from the jaws of the Lion.

But the tormentors of humanity seeking to silence this statement, murdered
the apostles;Lincoln and King .The messengers were killed but the message soars.

Ever since then,man still lives in self disillusionment and personal prejudice.

From the society to the government to the organisations.

Some people still see themselves as masters and others as slaves.

They prey on their victims,cast and kill them with their actions.

They feed on the carcass of their victims and condemn them to human indifference.

The aim of this declaration is still far from being realized.

Hence,the hypocrisy of man is manifested.

At the sick bed of Thomas Jefferson,the author of this declaration shortly before his death said thus.

"I have done for my country and for all mankind,all that I could do, and I now resign my soul,without fear,to my God"
