It sounds so funny when I read a broadcast on a watsapp page but that was just the truth
“ A signboard outside a restaurant read eat as much as you can, your grand children will pay the bill… a man entered the restaurant and ate as he could, got a toothpick and was relaxing when the waiter gave him the bill he laughed and pointed to the signboard, don’t you see, only my grandchildren will pay. The waiter replied, this is not your bill sir, it’s your grandfather’s bill”.

Just as the man went to eat as if there is no tomorrow because he was not going to be part of the tomorrow, that is the exact way most Nigerians are living there life’s and treating the nation in a very bad way, leaving little or nothing left for the unborn generation. It is audible to the deaf that most problems faced in this country Nigeria are been attributed to the failure of our government, but the fact remains that, are the government who are less than 25% of the total population responsible for all the atrocities and anomalies happening in our neighborhood on a daily basis?

The Nigeria situation has now become a case where almost every individual that has any form of power uses it at the detriment of his fellow human being. The rich are far away from the poor and don’t want to have anything with the poor masses forgetting that their unborn generation will be brought up among this poor masses which they have failed to accommodate in their splendid wealth and have implanted into them a bile of hatred and lack of trust for themselves and wealth generally, making an average Nigerian to be suspicious about the source of wealth of any rich person, resulting into wealth and prosperity to becoming an engagement for sinners.
The problem we are facing in Nigeria today was caused by our fathers who have eaten as much as possible leaving us to pay for what they ate and instead of we paying with the available resources and planting new seed for the future generation, we have continue to create more problems for the unborn generation by continuing to go to the restaurant and keep eating delicious meals always. The sad part of this is that, if it were to be everybody that is going to the restaurant to eat, it would have been better, but only few people are allowed to enter into the restaurant, and they eat up enough food in the name of majority people who are not allowed into this famous restaurant, this food they call the national cake.
It is pointless to note that majority of the starving people outside the restaurants most often delegate the most brave among them to meet with the waiter to get food for the people outside the restaurant and this waiter’s in their kind gesture to maintain peace and harmony outside the restaurants give this set of people enough food that they cannot finish eating themselves, and instead of this set of greedy people to at least give part to their fellow humans, they decide to keep the rest for their unborn generations as well, making the majority of the people to become so confuse on who to really accuse for their starvation, this they call unionism.
It’s so sad that in the mist of sorrow and the fog of death Africans became an enemy to Africans and like scavenging beasts Nigerians dug themselves a grave, a grave in which we buried our honor, honor of our country! Our esteem, esteem for our leaders! Our pride, pride as a nation! Our prestige, prestige as a people! Our patriotism, patriotism to our father land! Our loyalty, loyalty to ourselves! Even our very will to exist as a nation, strive for money and personal fame has become the order of the day but in the midst of this I see a better Nigeria.
The time is now when we have to decide the future of our unborn generation, without any form of doubt, we outside this restaurant have lost our integrity, and we are been driven by the odor of the delicious meal coming out of the restaurant which we might never taste. It’s high time we decided the future, even if we fail to feature in it, our children will surely do. Remember today is yesterday’s tomorrow.

This is why as Nigerians, we have to make a U-turn. Bcoz we do not knw whether things must CHANGE if we must improve, but for things to improve, there must be CHANGE.
This coming election is another great opportunity to make a new Nigeria.

PVC =Please Vote Change.
This all we need to have a new Nigeria.

God bless Nigeria.
