Chibok Girls Rescue: Military Deploys 2 Fighter Jets, 4 Helicopters In Gwoza by lalasticlala(m): 4:24pm On Mar 26, 2015
A coordinated attack is set to be carried out by the military to liberate Gwoza, Borno State, from Boko Haram captivity as the defence authorities have deployed four attack helicopters and two air force fighter jets to flush out the terrorists in the areas.

A reliable source in the military told our correspondent on Thursday that the attack helicopters and the fighter jets departed Yola, Adamawa State, at about 3pm, heading for Gwoza, the last town in Borno State under the control of terror sect.

The source told our correspondent on the telephone that ground forces from Bama, Borno State, and Madagali in Adamawa State, were advancing towards Gwoza in the air and ground operation to end the reign of the insurgents in the area.

President Goodluck Jonathan, on Wednesday, promised that the terror sect would be flushed out of Gwoza, where the kidnapped Chibok girls are allegedly being kept.

If these girls are finally rescued within few days to elections then i believe this is a calculated attempt by the ruling class to get sentimental votes on Saturday. The success recorded by the army in this few weeks are questionable and too good to be true.

Why is everything positive happening in 6 weeks

Kudos to our gallant soldiers for their bravery but i Believe there is more to this bokoharam issue undecided

Good, hit them with airstrike first then pound them with artillery fire after that pound them some more with grad fire from our RM-70 rocket launchers then send in the troops, T-72s, BMPs, BTRs, MRAPs with more air cover to clean up

No need for brash moves here else it could blow up in our faces literarily.....we suggest an elite ground attack force ably supplied with aerial drones to map out heat signatures and enemy spatials.Areas of high security in the camp should be of immiediate priority ,better still, have an insider for valuable intel.Start a decoy attack with shock troops to draw out the fighters whilst the elite force swoop in to rescue the girls and their babies.
