I have been bad,
But then;I chose the good path.
l've had some peace,
those nights;when
I made my bed and rest easy.
But then;I've had some nights
when I had to beg for sleep to come take me away
Some nights,staying awake
with the night against my wish.
Other nights,a pillow soacked
with silent tears.
And still, a body
in its effort to try sleeping
But with a broken heart;
hmmmm....!
Not always, not now,
But those times.....

I harbour no regrets.
They will only but keep me in circles.
Life lives here,
Writing letters and then words
on these walls
I see around me
I've been patient,
I've been learning.

It tells me
To smile,even in the face of challenges
It takes less effort to;
A better option
in place of a frown.
To worry less,
It pays nothing to.
Besides,it'll only but feast on my positive energy
Until I'm drained of life's vigor
I love the song"forever young".
It says,
To forgive,
But most of all,myself.
To work hard,
But not slave myself away.
To play,
But not while away precious time.
To care,
But always be careful.
To love ,
But not expect it in return;
Because I already have it.
To express the said love,
Not sometimes, but always.
To be a friend,
and not wait for one;
Because in return,
I get all the friends i need
and good ones too.

Life also wrote,
That I don't need to play the game of religion
To find God;
Because he's been reaching for me
and he's been here all along..
It also stressed the importance of
my quiet time;
However short or lengthy.

Recently,
it thought me to
Always be a rules player;
To be the first to say,
I'm sorry...,please....;
Even when i know
It should come from you
But then,
Just a few of life's letters to me.
am still being schooled........
not a smooth sail u bet,
But again;
I harbour no regrets
It is sure making the world
simple enough for me.
