Dunno yet, but cousin wey born around GEJ election in 2011 and named the boy good luck, na the boy mumu pass for all her children, the rest are very smart, he only eats non stop.
Anyway the last time I visited, they stopped calling him good luck and change to oluwa****** I can see a big change in him and mumuness.

I am a Christian and will gladly name my child Buhari instead of Goodluck if that is the only two options I have.

As the Lord help me, will name my child after righteousness

In all sincerity, My child already bears Goodluck... he is usually top 3 in his class. A very bright and intelligent boy.

It's just like asking an Igbo if he can name his child Oluwaseun. Yes he can! Oluwaseun means Kelechi in igbo.

I can only translate whatever name (be it Hausa, English or Hebrew) to Igbo version of it and name it my child. Ordinarily, I don't believe in luck (whether good or bad). I may consider Jonathan(the surname) if I know the meaning.
