The late arrival of the Independent National Electoral Commission officers almost marred presidential and national assembly elections in the Federal Capital Territory on Saturday. The commission officers did not arrive at many polling units at the central part of Abuja and the satellite towns until 10am. Although voters had got to the polling units as early as 6am, INEC officers started accreditation using card readers between 10am and noon.
