Gunmen have attacked Alkaleri town headquarters of Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State early Sunday morning. Although there’s no immediate official confirmation from the Government and security agencies over the attack, DailyTrust reports that a source at the district head of Alkaleri confirmed the attack.

The source said the attackers came in four Hilux firing sporadic shots, and people scampered for safety. Many could not come out from their house.

They attack Kirfi, then Alkaleri, but they don't kill anyone, the two towns are safe now, they only destroy INEC offices, they wanted to enter Bauchi city, but our youths defence line is strong that they can't penetrate alive.
